How SENSOR uses personal data in the Field & Service mobile app.

    Last updated 21.09.2026

    Who we are

This policy is issued by Друштво за трговија и услуги СЕНСОР ДОО Скопје (SENSOR DOO Skopje), with registered office at Blvd. Jane Sandanski 78, mezzanine, unit 5, 1000 Skopje, North Macedonia. Tax number (ЕДБ): MK4030000391604.

SENSOR is the controller of personal data processed through the SENSOR Field & Service mobile app (iOS and Android) and the company ERP that the app talks to.

    Who the app is for

The app is an internal work tool for SENSOR employees and contractors. Accounts are created by the company. It is not a consumer product and is not offered to the public.

    Data we process

Depending on your role and the work you do, the app and ERP may process:

    • Account data: name, email, hashed password, language, theme, notification preferences.
    • Employment data already held by SENSOR: job title, phone, department, leave, work assignments.
    • Work records: work orders, field and service reports, quantities, notes, material requests, comments.
    • Photos you attach to reports, including an optional signed client report photo.
    • Location at the moment you start work, end work, arrive on site, or leave a site.
    • Device data needed to keep you signed in: a device token, last used time, device or browser description, and (if you allow notifications) an Expo push token and platform (iOS or Android).

We do not use the app for advertising, analytics marketing SDKs, or selling lists of people.

    Why we process it

We process this data to run field and office operations:

    • Sign you in and keep the session on this device until you log out or an admin revokes it.
    • Show today’s work, let you report installed work and photos, and record hours on site.
    • Plan crews, vehicles, tools, warehouse issues, and service tickets.
    • Send work alerts to the app when you have allowed notifications.
    • Meet payroll, progress, safety, and record-keeping duties the company already has.

Legal bases under North Macedonia’s personal-data rules are the employment (or contractor) relationship and SENSOR’s legitimate need to operate the ERP. Some records are kept because the law requires them.

    Location

The app asks for location while you use it, only when you start work, end work, arrive, or leave. It does not request “always” location, does not watch your position in the background, and does not run a live tracker.

Coordinates are stored with that punch so coordinators can see that work happened at the site. If you refuse location, you may still be able to punch; the record then has no coordinates.

    Photos and camera

Camera and photo-library access is used only to attach pictures to a work report. Photos become part of the project or ticket file. They are not used for marketing.

    Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store an Expo push token for this device so SENSOR can send operational alerts (work orders, mentions, warehouse, and similar). You can turn notifications off in the system settings; the token is then unused.

    Who we share with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed to run the product:

    • Hosting and operation of the ERP (the SENSOR instance on blink.mk).
    • Apple, Google, and Expo, for app distribution and push delivery.
    • People inside SENSOR who already need the record for the job (planners, warehouse, HR, administrators).

Client names, site addresses, and work photos appear in the ERP because that is the work. They are not published by this app.

    How long we keep it

Device tokens last until you log out or the session is revoked. Push tokens are kept while the device remains registered. Work reports, photos, and attendance stay with the project or ticket for as long as SENSOR must keep operational and legal records. We then delete or archive according to the company’s retention rules.

    Your rights

You may ask SENSOR to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to restrict processing, where the law allows. Because this is a work system, some records cannot be erased while the employment or project record must be kept.

Ask your manager or write to the contacts below. You may also complain to the Agency for Personal Data Protection of North Macedonia.

    Children

The app is not directed at children and SENSOR does not create accounts for anyone under 16.

    Changes

We will post updates on this page. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use of the app after a change means the new text applies.
